Connecting LinkedIn

Connecting your LinkedIn account to an AI SDR agent enables automated LinkedIn outreach, including connection requests, messaging, and follow-ups.

Prerequisites

Before connecting LinkedIn, ensure:

  • You have an active LinkedIn account
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled on your LinkedIn account
  • You have your 2FA Secret Key (see 2FA Setup Guide)

How to Connect

  1. On any agent card, click the LinkedIn icon at the bottom (it should say "Connect").
  2. The Connect LinkedIn drawer opens.

What You'll Need to Enter

FieldRequired?Details
LinkedIn EmailYesThe email address used to log into LinkedIn. Must be a valid email format.
LinkedIn PasswordYesYour LinkedIn password. Click the eye icon to show/hide it.
2FA Secret KeyYesYour LinkedIn two-factor authentication secret key. Not the 6-digit code — the secret key used to generate those codes.
CountryYesSelect your country from the searchable dropdown.
tip

Need help finding your 2FA Secret Key? Click the "How to get your 2FA Secret Key?" link below the 2FA field. This opens step-by-step instructions on the right side of the screen.

  1. Click "Add" to submit.
  2. The system will process the connection. You'll see "Processing..." while it works.
  3. Once connected, the LinkedIn icon on the agent card turns green and shows "Connected".

Connection Status

After clicking Connect, the status will update in real-time:

  • Connecting — The system is establishing the connection
  • Connected — LinkedIn is successfully linked to the agent
  • Failed — Connection failed (check credentials and try again)

Real-time updates: LinkedIn connection status updates automatically via live notifications — no need to refresh the page.

If the Connection Fails

  • The status bar will show "Retry Connecting to LinkedIn" with a red dot.
  • Click the LinkedIn icon again to retry with corrected credentials.
info

Once LinkedIn is connected to an agent, it cannot be disconnected. The connection is permanent for that agent.
